View Mt. Fuji from the mountain road from Mitsuishi pass to the peak View of the Southern Japan Alps from Mitsuishi Pass

It takes about an hour and a half from Minobu Station to "Ohkuzure" on foot. The starting point of a trail that goes up the mountain is a house located at the top of the village. From there, walk the road in the field and come out to a ridge over which is Tsubakizouri. At the mountainside, which doesn't have many trees, the view is beautiful, so keep enjoying the scenary. After a while, you'll come out at the border ridge of Minobu Town and Nanbu Town, the go down the south ridge road. After the triangle point, soon a view of Mitsuishi Pass will appear. Look down and see Mt. Fuji, the south Japan Alps, and the village under ( ) and take a rest. After the viewing stand, the course is very rocky, so there are chains to help walking. During the course, a lot of old moss-covered beech trees can be seen. After the gentle ascent and dense woods, you will arrive at the last point, Mitsuishi Shrine. It is a small shrine built in front of the huge rock which this mountain is named after. Go around the big hinoki trees located east of this shrine, and you will see Suruga Bay and the Izu Islands between the trees if it's sunny. Take the same course to go back.
