■Nakatomi Japanese Paper Village
Minobu Town, with its flowing currents of the Fuji River and beautiful nature shaped by the four distinct seasons, is a place well known place for the refined elegance of Nishijima Washi(Japanese paper). The Nakatomi Washi no Sato (Japanese Paper Village) is a four-building facility located in the mountains. At "Sukiya Nakatomi", you can try to make handmade paper. At "Kamiya Nakatomi", you can see all different kinds of Japanese paper which is collected from all over Japan. At "Ajisaian", you can enjoy a variety of seasonal dishes. Finally, at "Nakatomi Modern Craft Museum" you can enjoy beautiful craft art.
