■Motosuko (Lake Motosu)
The lake at the western end of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Motosu, has been kept in a natural state. The circumference, the area, and the depth of water of Lake Motosu are 12.6km, 5.1km2, and 127m respectively.
The northern shore is the good place to have a view of Mt.Fuji. The view of Mt.Fuji from the beautiful emerald lakeside was adopted as the design of the new thousand yen bill.
